We have to move with the times & with changing times , our District goals also recommend that each club creates its own website for better communication with members.
Creation of the website will make circulation of plenty of information that flows from Dist Governor & Rotary International to Club President much easier which otherwise is difficult to pass on to members through club Bulletins. It will be also very beneficial to new members by providing them with important information about Rotary International, Club history, past achievements, member's information etc. All the past, current & near future news pertaining to the club & its activities would be available at the click of the mouse. Our club records would be also much more organized.
I think it is a great stride that our club is taking & I am very happy that new member Rtn. Rajesh Bothra who joined our club only on 1st July 2010 very enthusiastically took up the challenge to launch our Club Website. Being a new Rotarian, he did encounter difficulties as he had to collect lots of data for the website & at the same time make it an interesting one. I congratulate Rtn. Rajesh Bothra for launching the website in short span & wish him a bright Rotary career. I also thank PP. Jagdish Thakkar, Rtn Punita Dave & Rt. Ashutosh Jhala & Anne. Nita Shah for all the help. We welcome suggestions from members & also contribution of news about their personal achievements to make the website more interesting as the club website will be updated continuously.
I do hope the club website will increase the bonding between the members & the family & will be of great use. I wish the website a great future ahead.
